Ways to Wear

The 1 Mukhi Rudraksha is a sacred bead that’s worn as a single bead or in combination with other Mukhi Rudraksha, depending on the preference and purpose of the wearer.
Some popular combinations are the Heart Mala, the Shiv Mala Rudraksha, the Narayan Kavach, the Maha Mrityunjay Mala, the Seedha Mala, and the Indra Mala.
However, before wearing any of these combinations, one should follow certain guidelines and precautions, such as:
Buying them from a trusted seller who can provide a certificate of authenticity and lab testing report.
Checking their shape and origin.
Consulting an astrologer or our expert recommenders to choose a suitable one.
Wearing them on a Monday morning after taking a bath and wearing clean clothes.
Keeping them clean and dry.

Wearing Rules

– Wash your Rudraksha with water and oil the Rudraksha using a soft brush preferably once a month using almond oil.
– Chant ‘Om Namah Shivaye’ before wearing the Mala – the next day.
– Remove Rudraksha Mala while engaging in sexual intercourse and while visiting funeral grounds.
– Our scriptures also highlight that they can be worn all the time without any restrictions.
– Women can wear Rudraksha, As per our scriptures, there are no such restrictions and women can wear Rudraksha without any worries.
– To energise the Rudraksha Mala, touch it to a shivling and chant ‘Om Namah Shivaye’ 11 times. If possible, try to do a Rudrabhishek of the Rudraksha when possible.
– Do try to refrain from wearing a Rudraksha Mala worn by others and keep a Mala separate for Japa and for wearing.
